Exodus 2:14

14The man said, “Who made you ruler and judge over us? Are you thinking of killing me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid and thought, “What I did must have become known.”

14But he said, “Who made you a 2:14 Lit man, a rulerruler and a judge over us? Do you 2:14 Lit sayintend to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid and said, “Surely the matter has become known!”

14But he said, “Who made you a prince or a judge over us? Are you intending to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid and said, “Surely the matter has become known.”

14But the man said, “Who made you a prince and a judge over us? Do you intend to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid and said, “Certainly this incident is known.”

Then Moses was afraid and thought, “This thing I have done has surely become known.”

14The man said, “Who made you ruler and judge over us? Are you thinking about killing me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses became afraid. He thought, “People must have heard about what I did.”
