Exodus 20:25

25If you make an altar of stones for me, do not build it with dressed stones, for you will defile it if you use a tool on it.

25And if you make an altar of stone for Me, you shall not build it of cut stones, for if you wield your chisel on it, you will profane it.

25Now if you make an altar of stones for Me, you must not build it with stones shaped by tools; for if you use a chisel on it, you will defile it.

25And if thou make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stones; for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.

25But if thou wilt make mee an altar of stone, thou shalt not buylde it of hewen stones: for if thou lift vp thy toole vpon them, thou hast polluted them.

25If you make me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of cut stones; for if you lift up your tool on it, you have polluted it.

25If you make an altar out of stones to honor me, do not build it with blocks of stone. You will make it “unclean” if you use a tool on it.

25You may also use stones from the ground to make an altar for me. But do not use any tools to cut the stones. If you use a tool on the stones, the altar will not be right for you to worship me there.

25And if you make an altar of stones for Me, you do not build them of hewn work; when you have waved your tool over it, then you defile it;
