6I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—

6I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you 1:6 Lit inby the grace of Christ, for a different gospel,

6I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel;

6I am astonished and extremely irritated that you are so quickly shifting your allegiance and deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different [even contrary] gospel;

6I am amazed how quickly you are deserting the One who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel —

6I am amazed. You are so quickly deserting the one who chose you. He chose you to live in the grace that Christ has provided. You are turning to a different “good news.”
