Genesis 2:17

17but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

17but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for on the day that you eat from it you will certainly die.”

17but [only] from the tree of the knowledge (recognition) of good and evil you shall not eat, otherwise on the day that you eat from it, you shall most certainly die [because of your disobedience].”

17but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

17But you must not eat any fruit from the tree that gives knowledge of good and evil. If you do eat fruit from that tree, that day you will certainly die.’

17but from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, you do not eat from it, for in the day of your eating from it—dying you die.”
