Genesis 2:17

17but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

17but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not 2:17 Lit eat from iteat, for on the day that you eat from it you will certainly die.”

17but [only] from the tree of the knowledge (recognition) of good and evil you shall not eat, otherwise on the day that you eat from it, you shall most certainly 2:17 Both spiritually and physically, physical death in the sense of becoming mortal; they were created immortal.die [because of your disobedience].”

17but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die.”

17But you must not eat the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you do, you will certainly die.”
