Genesis 25:33

33But Jacob said, “Swear to me first.” So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob.

33And Jacob said, “25:33 Lit TodayFirst swear to me”; so he swore an oath to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob.

33And Jacob said, “First swear to me”; so he swore to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob.

33Jacob said, “Swear [an oath] to me today [that you are selling it to me for this food]”; so he swore [an oath] to him, and sold him his birthright.

33“Swear to me first,” Jacob said.

So Esau swore to Jacob and sold him the birthright.

33But Jacob said, “First promise to sell me your rights.” So Esau promised to do it. He sold Jacob all the rights that belonged to him as the oldest son.
