11Very well then, with foreign lips and strange tongues

God will speak to this people,

11Indeed, He will speak to this people

Through stammering lips and a foreign tongue,

11Indeed, the Lord will teach this people [in a more humiliating way]

By [men with] stammering lips and a foreign tongue,

11Indeed, with mocking lips and foreign tongues,

He will speak to this people

11Nay, but by men of strange lips and with another tongue will he speak to this people;

11For with a stammering tongue and with a strange language shall he speake vnto this people.

11But he will speak to this nation with stammering lips and in another language,

11All right then, these people won’t listen to me.

So God will speak to them.

He will speak by using people who speak unfamiliar languages.

He will speak by using the mouths of strangers.

11So now the Lord will use foreign enemies to speak to these people. He will speak to them in a strange language.

11For by scorned lip, and by another tongue, || Does He speak to this people.
