20Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them.

20He might treat you like prisoners. You might eat the bread of trouble. You might drink the water of suffering. But he will be your Teacher. He won’t hide himself anymore. You will see him with your own eyes.
20The Lord God has given trouble to you, like bread that you must eat. He has given pain to you, like water that you must drink. But he will no longer hide himself from you. He will be with you, to teach you and to be your guide.
20And the Lord has given to you bread of adversity, || And water of oppression. And your teachers remove no longer, || And your eyes have seen your teachers,
