28So I disgraced the dignitaries of your temple;

I consigned Jacob to destruction

and Israel to scorn.

28“So I will profane the officials of the sanctuary,

And I will turn Jacob over to destruction and Israel to abuse.

28“So I will profane the officials of the sanctuary,

And I will consign Jacob to destruction and [I will subject] Israel to defamation andabuse.

28So I will disgrace the princes of your sanctuary,

and I will devote Jacob to destructionand Israel to reproach.”

28Therefore I will profane the princes of the sanctuary; and I will make Jacob a curse, and Israel a reviling.

28Therefore I haue prophaned the rulers of the Sanctuarie, and haue made Iaakob a curse, and Israel a reproche.
