2Of what use was the strength of their hands to me,

since their vigor had gone from them?

2“Indeed, what good was the strength of their hands to me?

Vigor had perished from them.

2“Indeed, how could the strength of their hands profit me?

Vigor had perished from them.

2What use to me was the strength of their hands,

since their vigor had left them?

2Yea, the strength of their hands, whereto should it profit me?

Men in whom ripe age is perished.

2For whereto shoulde the strength of their handes haue serued mee, seeing age perished in them?

2Of what use is the strength of their hands to me,

men in whom ripe age has perished?

2Their strong hands couldn’t give me any help.

That’s because their strength was gone.

2The work that those old men could do was no help to me.

They no longer were strong.

2Also—the power of their hands, why [is it] to me? On them old age has perished.
