23Be glad, people of Zion,

rejoice in the Lord your God,

for he has given you the autumn rains

because he is faithful.

He sends you abundant showers,

both autumn and spring rains, as before.

23So shout for joy, you sons of Zion,

And rejoice in the Lord your God;

For He has given you 2:23 I.e., autumn; or possibly the teacher for righteousnessthe early rain for your vindication.

And He has brought down for you the rain,
