John 15:4

4Remain in Me, 15:4 Or I also remain in youand I in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit 15:4 Lit fromof itself 15:4 Lit if it does not remainbut must remain in the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me.

4Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.

4Remain in Me, and I [will remain] in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself without remaining in the vine, neither can you [bear fruit, producing evidence of your faith] unless you remain in Me.

4Remain joined to me, just as I also remain joined to you. No branch can bear fruit by itself. It must remain joined to the vine. In the same way, you can’t bear fruit unless you remain joined to me.
