John 4:9

9The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.4:9 Or do not use dishes Samaritans have used)

9So the Samaritan woman *said to Him, “How is it that You, though You are a Jew, are asking me for a drink, though I am a Samaritan woman?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)

9Therefore the Samaritan woman *said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask me for a drink since I am a Samaritan woman?” (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)

9The Samaritan woman asked Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask me, a 4:9 The Jews considered Samaritan women ceremonially unclean.Samaritan woman, for a drink?” (For Jews have nothing to do with Samaritans.)
