John 5:17

17In his defense Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.”

17But He answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working.”

17But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now [He has never ceased working], and I too am working.”

17But Jesus answered them, “To this very day My Father is at His work, and I too am working.”

17But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh even until now, and I work.

17But Iesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I worke.

17But Jesus answered them, “My Father is still working, so I am working, too.”

17Jesus defended himself. He said to them, “My Father is always doing his work. He is working right up to this day. I am working too.”

17But Jesus said to them, ‘My Father is still working, and I too must work.’

17And Jesus answered them, “My Father works until now, and I work”;
