Jonah 1:11

11The sea was getting rougher and rougher. So they asked him, “What should we do to you to make the sea calm down for us?”

11So they said to him, “What should we do to you so that the sea will become calm 1:11 Lit from upon usfor us?”—for the sea was becoming increasingly stormy.

11So they said to him, “What should we do to you that the sea may become calm for us?”—for the sea was becoming increasingly stormy.

11Then they said to him, “What should we do to you, so that the sea will become calm for us?”—for the sea was becoming more and more violent.

11Now the sea was growing worse and worse, so they said to Jonah, “What must we do to you to calm this sea for us?”
