Joshua 9:14

14The Israelites sampled their provisions but did not inquire of the Lord.

14So the men of Israel took some of their provisions, and did not ask for the counsel of the Lord.

14The men sampled their provisions, and didn’t ask counsel from Yahweh’s mouth.

14The Israelites looked over the supplies those people had brought. But they didn’t ask the Lord what they should do.

14The Israelite men tasted some of the Gibeonites' food, but they did not ask the Lord what they should do.

14And the men take of their provision, and have not asked the mouth of YHWH;
