Joshua 9:20

20This is what we will do to them: We will let them live, so that God’s wrath will not fall on us for breaking the oath we swore to them.”

20This we will do to them, even let them live, so that wrath will not be on us because of the oath which we swore to them.”

20This [is what] we will do to them: we will let them live, so that the wrath [of God] does not come upon us for [violating] the oath which we have sworn to them.”

20This is how we will treat them: We will let them live, so that no wrath will fall on us because of the oath we swore to them.”

20This we will do to them, and let them live; lest wrath be upon us, because of the oath which we sware unto them.

20But this we wil doe to them, and let them liue, least the wrath be vpon vs because of the othe which we sware vnto them.

20But here is what we’ll do to them. We’ll let them live. Then the Lord won’t be angry with us because we didn’t keep our promise.”

20But this is what we will do. We will let them live, because we made a strong promise to do that. Then God will not punish us.

20we do this to them, and have kept them alive, and wrath is not on us, because of the oath which we have sworn to them.”
