Judges 1:16

16The descendants of Moses’ father-in-law, the Kenite, went up from the City of Palms1:16 That is, Jericho with the people of Judah to live among the inhabitants of the Desert of Judah in the Negev near Arad.

16Now the descendants of Moses’ father-in-law, the Kenite, went up with the men of Judah from the City of Palms1:16 That is, Jericho to the Wilderness of Judah in the Negev near Arad. They went to live among the people.

16Moses’ father-in-law was a Kenite. His family went up from Jericho. Jericho was also known as the City of Palm Trees. His family went up with the people of Judah to the Desert of Judah. They went there to live among its people. Those people were living in the Negev Desert near Arad.
