Leviticus 25:25

25“ ‘If one of your fellow Israelites becomes poor and sells some of their property, their nearest relative is to come and redeem what they have sold.

25‘If a fellow countryman of yours becomes so poor that he sells part of his property, then his closest 25:25 I.e., male relative to act in his behalfredeemer is to come and buy back what his relative has sold.

25‘If a fellow countryman of yours becomes so poor he has to sell part of his property, then his nearest kinsman is to come and buy back what his relative has sold.

25‘If a fellow countryman of yours becomes so poor he has to sell some of his property, then his nearest relative is to come and buy back (redeem) what his relative has sold.

25If your brother becomes impoverished and sells some of his property, his nearest of kin may come and redeem what his brother has sold.

25“ ‘Suppose one of your own people becomes poor. And suppose they have to sell some of their land. Then their nearest relative must come and buy back what they have sold.
