37The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.”

Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

37And he said, “The one who showed compassion to him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do the same.”

37He answered, “The one who showed compassion and mercy to him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and constantly do the same.”

37“The one who showed him mercy,” replied the expert in the law.

Then Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

37And he said, He that showed mercy on him. And Jesus said unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

37And he saide, He that shewed mercie on him. Then said Iesus vnto him, Goe, and do thou likewise.

37He said, “He who showed mercy on him.”

Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”

37The authority on the law replied, “The one who felt sorry for him.”

Jesus told him, “Go and do as he did.”

37The teacher answered, ‘It was the man who was kind to him.’

Then Jesus said to him, ‘Yes. So you should go and be kind like that to other people.’

37And he said, “He who did the kindness with him,” then Jesus said to him, “Be going on, and you be doing in like manner.”
