Luke 15:23

23Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate.

23Bring the young cow that we keep ready to eat on a special day. It is already fat. Kill it and prepare it. We will eat a big meal and we will be happy together.

23and having brought the fatted calf, kill [it], and having eaten, we may be merry,
