Malachi 3:8

8“Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me.

“But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’

“In tithes and offerings.

8“Would anyone rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, ‘How have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings.

8“Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings [you have withheld].

8Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me!

But you ask, ‘How do we rob You?’

In tithes and offerings.

8Will a man rob God? yet ye rob me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

8Will a man spoyle his gods? yet haue ye spoyled me: but ye say, Wherein haue we spoyled thee? In tithes, and offerings.

8Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me! But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In tithes and offerings.

8“Will a mere human being dare to steal from God? But you rob me!

“You ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’

“By holding back your offerings. You also steal from me when you do not bring me a tenth of everything you produce.

8I say to you, “A man should not rob God. But you are robbing me.”

But you ask, “How do we rob you?” I say, “You do not give to me the tithes and the offerings that you should give.”

8Does man deceive God? But you are deceiving Me, || And you have said, || In what have we deceived You? The tithe and the raised-offering!
