Matthew 15:5

5But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is ‘devoted to God,’

5But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever I have that would help you has been given to God,”

5But you say, ‘If anyone says to his father or mother, “Whatever [money or resource that] I have that would help you is [already dedicated and] given to God,”

5But you say that if anyone says to his father or mother, ‘Whatever you would have received from me is a gift devoted to God,’

5But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, That wherewith thou mightest have been profited by me is given to God;

5But ye say, Whosoeuer shall say to father or mother, By the gift that is offered by me, thou maiest haue profite,

5But suppose people have something that might be used to help their parents. You allow them to say it is instead ‘a gift set apart for God.’

5But you teach that a person may say to his father or to his mother, “I would have given gifts to help you. But I cannot do that because I have given them to God instead.”

5but you say, Whoever may say to father or mother, An offering [is] whatever you may be profited by me—
