Matthew 17:24

24After Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma temple tax came to Peter and asked, “Doesn’t your teacher pay the temple tax?”

24Now when they came to Capernaum, those who collected the 17:24 Equivalent to about two denarii or two days’ wages for a laborer, paid as a temple taxtwo-drachma tax came to Peter and said, “Does your teacher not pay the 17:24 Equivalent to about two denarii or two days’ wages for a laborer, paid as a temple taxtwo-drachma tax?”

24When they came to Capernaum, those who collected the Equivalent to two denarii or two days’ wages, paid as a temple taxtwo-drachma tax came to Peter and said, “Does your teacher not pay the two-drachma tax?”

24When they arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the 17:24 Equivalent to two denarii or two days’ wages.half-shekel [temple tax] went up to Peter and said, “Does not your teacher pay the half-shekel?” [Ex 30:13; 38:26]

24After they had arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma tax17:24 Greek the didrachma; twice in this verse came to Peter and asked, “Does your Teacher pay the two drachmas?”

24Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum. There the people who collect the temple tax came to Peter. They asked him, “Doesn’t your teacher pay the temple tax?”
