Matthew 19:5

5and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?

5and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?

5and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined inseparably to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? [Gen 1:27; 2:24; Mark 10:7]

5and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?

5and said, For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh?

5And sayd, For this cause, shall a man leaue father and mother, and cleaue vnto his wife, and they which were two shalbe one flesh.

5and said, ‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh’?

5He said, ‘That’s why a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife. The two will become one.’ (Genesis 2:24)

5Because of this, a man leaves his father and his mother. God joins him and his wife together. The man and the woman become like one body.

5and said, For this cause will a man leave father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they will be—the two—for one flesh?
