New International Version (NIV)

15Our ancestors went down into Egypt, and we lived there many years. The Egyptians mistreated us and our ancestors,

15that our fathers went down to Egypt, and we stayed in Egypt a long time, and the Egyptians treated us and our fathers badly.

15that our fathers (ancestors) went down to Egypt, and we lived there for a long time, and the Egyptians treated [both] us and our fathers badly.

15how our fathers went down to Egypt, where we lived many years. The Egyptians mistreated us and our fathers,

15Long ago our people went down into Egypt. We lived there for many years. The Egyptians treated us and our people badly.
