Philemon 1:8

8Therefore, although in Christ I could be bold and order you to do what you ought to do,

8Therefore, though I have enough confidence in Christ to order you to do what is proper,

8So although in Christ I am bold enough to order you to do what is proper,

8Wherefore, though I have all boldness in Christ to enjoin thee that which is befitting,

8Wherefore, though I bee very bolde in Christ to commaund thee that which is conuenient,

8Therefore though I have all boldness in Christ to command you that which is appropriate,

8Because of the authority Christ has given me, I could be bold. I could order you to do what you should do anyway.

8I want to ask you to do something. I am sure that Christ has given me authority. So I could tell you strongly what you should do.

8For this reason, having in Christ much boldness to command you that which is fit—
