Philippians 1:29

29For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him,

29For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on His behalf,

29For you have been granted [the privilege] for Christ’s sake, not only to believe and confidently trust in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,

29For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for Him,

29because to you it hath been granted in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer in his behalf:

29For vnto you it is giuen for Christ, that not onely ye should beleeue in him, but also suffer for his sake,

29Because it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer on his behalf,

29Here is what he has given you to do for Christ. You must not only believe in him. You must also suffer for him.

29God is helping you to serve Christ well. This means that you believe in Christ. But it also means that you suffer on his behalf. Both of these things are gifts from God.

29because to you it was granted, on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on behalf of Him;
