34For jealousy arouses a husband’s fury,

and he will show no mercy when he takes revenge.

34For jealousy 6:34 Lit is the rage ofenrages a man,

And he will not have compassion on the day of vengeance.

34For jealousy enrages a man,

And he will not spare in the day of vengeance.

34For jealousy enrages the [wronged] husband;
