9for zeal for your house consumes me,

and the insults of those who insult you fall on me.

9For zeal for Your house has consumed me,

And the taunts of those who taunt You have fallen on me.

9For zeal for Your house has consumed me,

9because zeal for Your house has consumed me,

9For the zeal of thy house hath eaten me up;

And the reproaches of them that reproach thee are fallen upon me.

9For the zeale of thine house hath eaten mee, and the rebukes of them that rebuked thee, are fallen vpon me.

9For the zeal of your house consumes me.

The reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.

9My great love for your house destroys me.

Those who make fun of you make fun of me also.

9My love for your house burns inside me like a fire.

Anybody who insults you,
