Romans 11:6

6And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.

6But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, since otherwise grace is no longer grace.

6And if it is by grace, then it is no longer by works. Otherwise, grace would no longer be grace.

6But if it is by grace, it is no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.

6And if it be of grace, it is no more of workes: or els were grace no more grace: but if it be of workes, it is no more grace: or els were worke no more worke.

6And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

6And if they are chosen by grace, then they can’t work for it. If that were true, grace wouldn’t be grace anymore.

6God has not chosen them because of any good things that they have done. If that were true, it would not be his gift to them that they do not deserve.

6and if by grace, no longer of works, otherwise grace becomes no longer grace; and if of works, it is no longer grace, otherwise work is no longer work.
