Romans 9:6

6It is not as though God’s word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.

6But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel;

6However, it is not as though God’s word has failed [coming to nothing]. For not all who are descended from Israel (Jacob) are [the true] Israel;

6But it is not as though the word of God hath come to nought. For they are not all Israel, that are of Israel:

6Notwithstanding it can not bee that the worde of God should take none effect: for all they are not Israel, which are of Israel:

6But it is not as though the word of God has come to nothing. For they are not all Israel that are of Israel.

6I do not mean that God’s word has failed. Not everyone in the family line of Israel really belongs to Israel.

6God promised good things to Israel's people. But I am not saying that God's promises failed. It is clear that not all of Israel's people are God's true people.

6And it is not possible that the word of God has failed; for not all who [are] of Israel are these of Israel;
