Romans 9:7

7Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.”

7nor are they all children because they are Abraham’s descendants, but: “through Isaac your descendants shall be named.”

7and they are not all the children of Abraham because they are his descendants [by blood], but [the promise was]: “Your descendants will be named through Isaac” [though Abraham had other sons]. [Gen 21:9-12]

7Nor because they are Abraham’s descendants are they all his children. On the contrary, “Through Isaac your offspring will be reckoned.”

7neither, because they are Abraham’s seed, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

7Neither are they all children, because they are the seede of Abraham: but, In Isaac shall thy seede be called:

7Neither, because they are Abraham’s offspring, are they all children. But, “your offspring will be accounted as from Isaac.”

7Not everyone in Abraham’s family line is really his child. Not at all! Scripture says, “Your family line will continue through Isaac.” (Genesis 21:12)

7Not all of them are true descendants of Abraham. God told Abraham, ‘It is only Isaac that I will call the father of your descendants.’

7nor because they are seed of Abraham [are] all children, but, “in Isaac will a seed be called to you”;
