15You will leave your name

for my chosen ones to use in their curses;

the Sovereign Lord will put you to death,

but to his servants he will give another name.

15“You will leave your name as a curse to My chosen ones,

And the Lord 65:15 Heb YHWH, usually rendered LordGod will put you to death.

But 65:15 As in LXX; MT He will call His servantsMy servants will be called by another name.

15You will leave your name for a curse to My chosen ones,

And the Lord God will slay you.

But My servants will be called by another name.

15“And you will leave your name behind to My chosen ones [who will use it] as a curse,

And the Lord God will put you to death,

But He will call His servants by another name [a much greater name, just as the name Israel was greater than the name Jacob]. [Gen 32:28; Jer 29:22]

15You will leave behind your name

as a curse for My chosen ones,

and the Lord GOD will slay you;

but to His servants He will give another name.

15My chosen ones will use your names

when they curse others.

I am your Lord and King.

I will put you to death.

But I will give new names to those who serve me.
