Jeremiah 22:9

9And the answer will be: ‘Because they have forsaken the covenant of the Lord their God and have worshiped and served other gods.’ ”

9Then they will answer, ‘Because they abandoned the covenant of the Lord their God and bowed down to other gods and served them.’ ”

9Then they will answer, ‘Because the people ignored and abandoned the [solemn] covenant with the Lord their God and worshiped other gods and served them.’ ”

9Then people will reply, ‘Because they have forsaken the covenant of the Lord their God and have worshiped and served other gods.’”

9Then they shall answer, Because they forsook the covenant of Jehovah their God, and worshipped other gods, and served them.

9Then shall they answere, Because they haue forsaken the couenant of the Lord their God, and worshipped other gods, and serued them.

9Then they will answer, ‘Because they abandoned the covenant of Yahweh their God, worshiped other gods, and served them.’”

9And the answer will be, ‘This happened because of what its people have done. They have turned away from the covenant the Lord their God made with them. They have worshiped other gods. And they have served them.’ ”

9Other people will answer, “He did it because they refused to obey their covenant with the Lord their God. They worshipped other gods instead of him.” ’

9And they have said, “Because that they have forsaken || The covenant of their God YHWH, || And bow themselves to other gods, and serve them.”
