Judges 2:23

23The Lordhad allowed those nations to remain; he did not drive them out at once by giving them into the hands of Joshua.

23So the Lordallowed those nations to remain, not driving them out quickly; and He did not hand them over to Joshua.

23That is why the Lordhad left those nations in place and had not driven them out immediately by delivering them into the hand of Joshua.

23So Jehovah left those nations, without driving them out hastily; neither delivered he them into the hand of Joshua.

23So the Lord left those nations, and droue them not out immediatly, neither deliuered them into the hand of Ioshua.

23So Yahweh left those nations, without driving them out hastily. He didn’t deliver them into Joshua’s hand.

23The Lordhad let those nations remain in the land. He didn’t drive them out right away. He didn’t hand them over to Joshua.

23So the Lordlet some of the Canaanite nations continue to live in the land. He did not chase them all away. He had not put them all under Joshua's power.

23And YHWH leaves these nations, so as not to dispossess them quickly, and did not give them into the hand of Joshua.
