Zechariah 2:8

8For this is what the Lord Almighty says: “After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye—

8For the Lord of armies says this: “After glory He has sent Me against the nations that plunder you, for the one who touches you, touches the 2:8 Lit pupilapple of His eye.

8For thus says the Lord of hosts, “After glory He has sent me against the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.

8For thus says the Lord of hosts, “After 2:8 I.e. the Messiah’s first and second advents, Matt 25:31-46.glory He has sent Me against the nations which plunder you—for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.

8For this is what the Lord of Hosts says: “After His Glory has sent Me2:8 Or After the Glorious One has sent Me or After He has honored Me and sent Me against the nations that have plundered you — for whoever touches you touches the apple2:8 Or the pupil of His eye —

8The Lord rules over all. His angel says to Israel, “The Glorious One has sent me to punish the nations that have robbed you of everything. That’s because anyone who hurts you hurts those the Lord loves and guards.
